PearlJammzz02-21-2007, 10:12 AMAnyone have a good view of a 2 w/ the 93+ front lip, and tom's side skirts? Kind of debating how this would look, and don't think I've ever seen it. JT103-02-2007, 06:03 PMVoilà:

and on that front piece that goes up the fender a little bit, is that removable by chance? Or able to be shaved off? skillzo103-02-2007, 07:09 PMDOn't know who's car it is but it's very nice.

I am going for a similar look, except I might shave the little part towards the back of the skirt so it's flat, and doesn't flare out right before the rear wheel. That and shave my moldings :-p. PearlJammzz03-02-2007, 08:47 PMUpon closer look, it looks like the silver one has the greddy side vent? Am I smoking something or is it? lol Hiighboost203-02-2007, 09:42 PMUpon closer look, it looks like the silver one has the greddy side vent? Am I smoking something or is it? lol

Think u smokin Sang03-02-2007, 10:06 PMVery nice :). That isn't a stock rear bumper is it?

The step fin is a secondary piece, if you buy replicas, many times they don't even supply you with that particular piece ursoboostd03-02-2007, 11:21 PMI didn't use the step fins on mine either. Looks alot cleaner without it. -Wade- 5FistsoftheNorthStar03-03-2007, 01:41 AM^ I 2nd that opinion. If you go through all the trouble of shaving the skirt why not just go with the greddy skirts? Grant it they are more expensive, but they look mighty nice! And as for the step that goes up to the fender...shave and use body filler/bondo. That's what Ima do when I get some greddy sides.

My opinion...the one piece of a body kit never looked good to me, i.e. only aftermarket front bumper, or just the side skirts. You have to have a complete kit in order for it to look right. Like the guy above me^^^...:D

Again my opinion. deseroner03-20-2007, 09:40 PMhere is a pic of my body kit Davis03-20-2007, 10:05 PMDOn't know who's car it is but it's very nice.

Hey guys whats that little piece on the rear side window? I'm wondering because i have that also and don't know what its for. Is it supposed to hold something?

By the way all the cars here are nice. :) PearlJammzz03-20-2007, 10:19 PMWow didn't notice that but now I am curious too, haha. Perhaps satelite radio? canadam03-20-2007, 11:44 PMLooks like a cell phone antenna. alphonsus03-21-2007, 04:55 AMYea, thats a car phone antenna. Ncturnal03-21-2007, 05:41 AMI have the Tom's sides on my car and I have to say I don't like them. While they do look nice, I don't like how they hang so low past the jack points. They make it difficult to jack the car up or get it on a lift, especially if your car has been lowered. I'd love to be able to remove them. :( PearlJammzz03-21-2007, 07:56 AMYa...I never thought about that. That'd be a pain in the ass, lol. Thanks for theh eads up :). Davis03-21-2007, 08:09 AMYea thanks guys, now i just need to figure out a way to take that off and i'll be set. :) ursoboostd03-21-2007, 06:53 PMBrian is definately write on that subject. I hate jacking my car up because of those damn skirts. -Wade- Lord_Kyle_92na03-22-2007, 01:14 AMI have Tom's skirts and I Just jack from the crossmember and frunk bottom. I've never really had any problems. goose258003-22-2007, 02:16 AMhave had an idea.i have a set of toms side skirts and front bumper.my car is lowered and i drift. some of the places we drift+body kit+lowered car =damage. do im going to use zuse fasteners in hidden places.1 so i can quickly remove them @ drift events and or to jack the car up. any ways thats my 2 cents. hope it helps.

oh an when im done ill post pics if anyone is interested. Tommy122303-23-2007, 12:29 AMI noticed that on the yellow and the other MII, there isnt a side marker light, where do i find the piced of long rubber thing to make it so i dont have my corner light? canadam03-23-2007, 02:35 AMYou need to order it from a Toyota dealer, or find it used. Keith Tau (RPM Garage) often sells them on eBay, you can also get them from a place like Iron Toad Toyota or Partznet (Conicelli Toyota). Tommy122303-23-2007, 02:49 AManybody know the part number for it? i dont even know what the actual name it is to call it to explain it to people. Davis03-23-2007, 07:36 AMhttp://www.mr2board.com/forums/mk-2-part-numbers/Toyota-MR2-6511-pn-clear-corners-solid-side-moldings.html
