Are 89 supercharged pinstripe sets and door mouldings still available from Toyota??? I want to paint a 89 supercharged and want to replace all the OEM decals and replace the door mouldings (which I believe have the pinstripes painted onto them).

Can anyone answer this definitively?? canadam12-08-2006, 04:02 AMKevin (toymr2) of Toyota Canada should be able to let you know if the stripes are available to the Canadian dealers. If we can't get it north of the 49th, that doesn't necessarily mean your chances are gone. If the part is available in the US or Japan, it's very likely Carson Toyota can get it for you.

The belt moldings do have the pin stripes in/on them. On my 88SC the stock pin striping around the back of the bumper was intact. The front bumper was mostly intact, and I was missing part of a letter and a bit of the "TOYOTA" Also, on the spoiler, there was a pin stripe that was put on on top of the original. It looks like it may have been done the same time one was put down the top of the fender/door/rear quarter (I've never confirmed this as a Toyota stripe, so I have always assumed it wasn't).
