I have a 1988 MR2 Supercharged, automatic, 201k miles, drives like a dream! No check engine lights or warning lights. Cat Convertor and muffler/exhaust was replaced back in August of last year. There is a very small oil leak (about a nickel-quarter size after a week of sitting) appears to be coming from the oil pan, but if you know these cars, it really could be coming from anywhere.

Like many of these, both front power windows do not go up or down. It’s not the switch or switch gear, both sides need the new window regulators. Also, the A/C blows but does not blow cold. Lastly, the bulb behind the dash works intermittently, haven’t figured out yet what the issue is. As with any 30+ year old car, there are various trim pieces cracked, missing or broken. I’ll do my best to photo document each of them. However, the leather seats are in PERFECT condition.

Entire vehicle was re-painted original red and it’s really stands out… however during the paint job the antenna was removed and NOT replaced. In any case, it has a new radio head unit that works well with Aux/USB/Bluetooth.

Pros:
-Runs and drives strong
-Popup headlights are functional
-Car repainted earlier this year
-Registered and California Tags good till aug 2021
-16 inch rims
-tires are newish
-New radiator
-Very minimal rust
-Leather seats still in great shape

Cons:
-Interior needs work/various trim replaced
-Window regulators dont work
-Ac works, but doesnt blow cold
-Body is mostly straight aside from some small damage in the under front passenger trunk well (from my experience this isn’t impacting the alignment, tire wear or any issues with pulling.)
-Previous owner installed a early 90's Toyota emblem on the front.
