zircon 203-17-2016, 03:25 PMhi guys im 18 years old and I've had a uk spec SW since I was 14 and finally she's in my name but of course cant drive her yet as the insurance is to high. that's what its like for new drivers in the uk.so I am driving around in a Toyota Yaris.I've been buying loads of genuine Toyota parts as I think genuine is best.

What products can I use to protect the paint Coastal05-02-2016, 04:28 PMNothing special. Keep it clean and protect it with a periodic application of polish and wax.

You've had the car for awhile, but if it hasn't seen much paint attention lately, it's a good time to stay on top of it. Of course, parking in covered areas goes a long way too. zircon 205-23-2016, 02:31 PMJust got some more genuine Toyota goodies

A thread here is a very lonely place bud. Get on a Toyota forum if you want more interest. quicksand7706-01-2016, 08:18 AMWhy is no one interested in my project

I am interested in the project.
Also thanks for the part numbers, I'm sure they will help people.

I swear there are only like 10 people that even use this forum to do anything else but sell shit. A thread here is a very lonely place bud. Get on a Toyota forum if you want more interest.

I'm sure a lot of people are still around but don't say much when they don't need to. arthursc206-01-2016, 04:04 PMI like restoration projects, and I am thankful for the part numbers. I need to order belt line trim and a cowl before they are discontinued.

One thing about the MR2 community I have noticed in my 2 car time being here is that people are really stingy about releasing their ideas, or being really clever about posting pics but hiding the part number; as if they have something to gain. So I appreciate you posting up and saving us some time on Google! MR2LiveCrew06-01-2016, 09:06 PMDon't feel bad. Yours at least has reply's. Nobody has commented on my build thread lol. Its MR 2 You06-02-2016, 08:34 AMSometimes when you have experimental ideas that are new people will try and snuff you out because they are desktop experts. Snuffed out my original thread and pretty well set the tone for the second. Personally I don't really like this place, but I posted up pics because there are a few here I still like and they want to see my progress. Just work on the car you love. Post pics as you make progress and if someone comments great. If not don't sweat it after all you're building the car for you and not for them. You're car is clean and you look like your going to take great care of it so that's awesome. My style is much different and isn't to everyone's liking given that I'm playing with concepts rather then just sticking to restoring another car that looks like everyone else. Such is life. Keep at it. Your thread is more helpful then most with the part numbers I am sure as your project progresses more people will chime in.

Johann zircon 206-03-2016, 03:20 PMThank you all for the kind words RePete06-03-2016, 05:03 PMYeah, I wouldn't sweat it. With only 13 posts in almost as many days, you've got over 400 views - so people are interested (appreciate those parts #s too).

Besides, that's a good number of views considering that not only are these cars vanishing, but there are individual FB groups which have migrated a lot of former members. zircon 206-19-2016, 08:08 AMGot some more oem goodies showing part numbers to help anyone.as I bought the Toyota aniversery stainless steel door sill panels the passenger side has the holes in it for where the jdm raod flare goes and I luckily found the part number for the genuine Toyota flare clips zircon 206-19-2016, 08:23 AMhttp://i965.photobucket.com/albums/ae133/callumjdm/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zpsuzudsgyl.jpeg
