Oteck10-05-2006, 05:49 PMeh? what about them? Jason.MZW2010-05-2006, 06:51 PMHmm, the board was being weird. Where the hell is my first post? :lol:

Here's what I posted:

Ratings (before -> after)
1 245cc/min @ 43 PSI -> 254cc/min @ 43 PSI
2 251cc/min @ 43 PSI -> 256cc/min @ 43 PSI
3 249cc/min @ 43 PSI -> 255cc/min @ 43 PSI
4 243cc/min @ 43 PSI -> 254cc/min @ 43 PSI
5 248cc/min @ 43 PSI -> 255cc/min @ 43 PSI
6 250cc/min @ 43 PSI -> 256cc/min @ 43 PSI

1 295cc/min @ 50 PSI
2 297cc/min @ 50 PSI
3 296cc/min @ 50 PSI
4 295cc/min @ 50 PSI
5 296cc/min @ 50 PSI
6 297cc/min @ 50 PSI

I finally had them cleaned at RC Engineering down in Torrance. They're great, and I recommend them if you live in the LA area. I'll scan my injector report later, so give me a little time. At 50 PSI, my injectors should flow just under 300cc/min. Actual spec is 292cc/min, but mine will flow about 295cc/min, which is fine. The variation between the injectors before cleaning was more than I expected, so I'm glad I had this done.

I don't believe there is any flow difference between the M/T or A/T w/o CA ECS injectors (fat, metal, sky blue) and the A/T CA ECS (skinny, plasticky, dark blue). The A/T CA ECS injectors eventually became 50 state emissions injectors after 2001. The 3MZ has skinny pink injectors. Weasy2k10-05-2006, 07:02 PMi thought they were around the 240-260 area? 240-292 is the actual spec. It's dependent on the FPR and how much pressure it's providing and overall injector flow. 240cc/min is at 44 PSI, which is the lowest it can be before being out of spec. Oteck10-05-2006, 07:28 PMi need to do that on mine, i got every set of 1mz injectors and 2 more set of skinny pinkies (3mz) Jason.MZW2010-06-2006, 03:42 AMHere's my report:

http://webpages.charter.net/jaybe/Swap/flow.jpg Weasy2k10-06-2006, 11:06 AMhrmm nice so i can use those injectors for a bit extra fuel... Toysrme10-06-2006, 10:26 PM3vz-fe: 216cc @ 38psi / 256cc @ 44psi. (248-273cc@ 50psi) With a 5cc maximum specified differance.
5vz-fe: 224cc @ 38psi / 276cc @ 44psi. (257-294cc @ 50psi) 1.3cc.
non-vvt 1mz's: 224cc @ 44psi - 276cc @ 50psi. 6cc.
The vvt 1mz's & 3mz's: 240cc @ 44psi - 292cc @ 50psi. 13cc.

Hope that sorts that out for yall.
Stick with what you have weasy. Not really going to gain you anything it looks like. Oteck10-07-2006, 12:23 AMwith some digging and talk with toysrme i found out the only difference between the 1mz/3mz vvti's is the 3mz doesn't have air assist but have the same flow. Also the cali spec a/t 1mz injector is the same ones used on the vvti avalon. based on the EPC Powered by vBulletin® Version 4.2.5 Copyright © 2026 vBulletin Solutions Inc. All rights reserved.
