PM me if you have one for sale. mr2tim08-05-2014, 12:40 PMHowdy Kelly,

Doesn't look like you've gotten any offers in your search for this PIA Toyota IC for our Supercharged Model cars.

If you get desperate contact me via email.

I've had experience with Honda substitutes and I've run a mechanical voltage regulator for the last decade in my DD/racecar.

There is hope out there.

BTW welcome to the mid-engine forum. :) kelleycs08-05-2014, 12:48 PMMy name is Christian but thanks man I did the Honda sub but it burnt it up and it never really read right. mr2tim08-05-2014, 01:02 PMWell then, OK Chris,

Might want to try the late 70's Toyota mechanical units.

I also had a buttfull of this stupid assed Toyota remote voltage regulator hassle and have not had much problem with the mechanical unit.

Here's what it looks like hooked up presently.

If you need hookup help write me privately and I'll be glad to offer what I have.

(Mister2 Tim) Old Twos08-12-2014, 12:29 PMCan you give me a part number? I've got a couple of coils and voltage regulators laying around and one of them might be what you're looking for. Just need to be sure on the part # then I can send you some pics. Old Twos08-13-2014, 02:46 PMOK, did a search (to see what it looks like) and there are a couple of toyota dealers that have the part evidently ($179!) http://toyotaparts.bochtoyotasouth.com/oe-toyota/2770064021
I'm trying to picture what it looks like, do you have a part pic? mr2tim08-19-2014, 08:17 PMHere's a old write-up I submitted years ago when I did some Honda voltage regulator replacements.

It's basic multi-meter usage and nothing near rocket scientist stuff.
